Thread: Can anyone on test center answer a few questions about these changes in testing?

I've been reading the notes on what's testing for the next big patch, and had questions about a few. Hopefully they haven't been answered already a hundred times Here are the ones I'm curious about:

  • You now only get UXP on components that someone else made.

  • Is this a typo, or am I suddenly going to get experience from using something someone else made?

  • Animal samples may be used in animal particle effects generator craftable by an artisan with Engineering I.

  • What the heck does this mean? What is an "animal particle effect generator"? I'm a master artisan and have no idea.

  • Players now get punted from a house when their access fee permission times out.

  • I've never used access fees, so I don't know, but what's the time limit on access?

  • Bring /con messages in line with new colors

  • What new colors are they talking about? New con colors?

  • Pathfinding bug fixes and improvements, especially in interiors.
  • Stuck AI's will warp past the thing they are stuck on to get to a target

  • Do these help the problems with droids stopping following you for now apparent reason?

  • Examine: display crafting tool effectiveness in attributes

  • Is this the experimental effectiveness? So if I craft a tool at 90%, that will be visible? I guess this is a clue that crafter effectiveness must affect something in crafting! Yay

  • Overhead Map: render waypoints on overhead map

  • Did they fix the rendering problem of mutliple vendor advertised names overlapping, making them unreadable.

  • Client: More framerate improvements
  • A bunch of work on water visuals.

  • Really? Is it any better yet? Does the water look cool yet? I think the DAoC expansion has set the high water mark (pun intended) on cool looking water.
