Hi I am a doctor and i have artisan to survey materials to make my med paks and stims. I was wonderin if its pssible to survey without artiasan so I can free up some points. Any help on this would be apreciated.

To answer your question a bit better...

You need to at the very least be trained in Novice Artisan to survey at all. I'd say you better judge the skill points involved to get that - though if you have need of Surveying now and have lots of skill points to use I'd Survey yourself until you find the need to recoup those Novice Artisan skillpoints. Anybody who tells you different probably wants to sell you resources for a major profit in the meantime. (might just be my opinion, but Artisans aren't Artisans to sell resources to make tons of money - we craft things if the "Artisan" title didn't give it away)

Some artisian's gotta sell resources otherwise non-Artisans wouldn't get them. Even with harvesters, you still need to survey to place them
