Artisan Archive

After about a month with my brawler ive only gotten to 0.3.0.0 and its been so time consuming. So I'm considering just surrenderring all of my brawler skills and becoming an artisan. But first i have a few questions..

• What are crafting stations for? dont you have your own personal one?


• What kind of missions are on the Artisan Terminal


• How do you acquire schematics?

Also I'd like to know about materials. I know that they can be used to craft things, but how does thier attributes come into play? Thanks alot for the help I hope you can sway me into becoming an artisan.

• Crafting stations (made by Novice Architects) are a needed component to some schematics. Besides that, they allow you to experiment and create a schematic to run in a factory.


• Crafting: Typically it sends you to an NPC who gives you components and a schematic. You build the item and take it somewhere else. Not worth the time. Survey: You use your survey tool to find a concentration at the number of what it asks for. (Ex: Non-Ferrous Metal 70%)


• Schematics come with each box of Artisan all the way up to Master. Some schematics are attained through quests and/or missions. Currently I don't believe there are any rare Artisan schematics like there is for Armorsmiths.

On materials: When you start to craft something, let's say you're making a powerup, you'll see on the schematic (scroll down) what attributes pertain and in what percent. Powerups are Overall Quality 100% (I believe... I only use OQ) To make the best item, you need to find materials with the high stat. Typically 950+ in all slots will give you very close to the best item possible.
