Artisan Archive

This is my second day of SWG and it is very nice, but extremely complicated. My main skill is Scouting, and I think I can handle that one. But Artisan seems to be a lot more complicated to develop. I need to know how to achieve XP for crafting, and in which way I should develop. Aswell I am not sure how to use the crafting items, as it must matter what kind of organic or inorganic compound you use, instead of using any.
