Thread: A CSR response to me, was this fair? Dev's/CSR/TH?
I have two Krayt made weapons, one is a Scout Blaster, the other an FWG5, they had *very* nice damage, so much so that they each cost me 1 Million. Thats about a Months worth of work to get 2 Million to buy these guns. Now, I have a Repair Tool that was 93%, my Krayt Scout Blaster was brand new, only had a few points off its total condition, by mistake tho, I repaired it rather than this other gun I had, and this brand new Krayt gun falls apart. I panic and send a message to CSR about it, I found it odd that a Repair Tool with a rating of 93%, repairing a new gun would make it fall apart (I thought this would only be possible if the gun was at like 20% total condition). I was willing to believe that maybe, just maybe, I got a bad roll. So I started to repair my other guns, and they were repaired fine, then I got to my FWG5. I was worried about fixing it. I have two accounts and was using the FWG5 for another Char, so I passed the Tool over to that Char and tried to repair the FWG5 and it was about 60% in total Condition. Well, it fell apart too.
Two Krayt Made guns falling apart from the same Repair Tool? Now *that* did not sound right. What are the Odds?!?! So I added this new info to my Ticket, a few days later CSR responds that they will do..nothing. Im just out of luck, no money returned to me, guns not fixed, nothing. So, now I come to the message boards to get your feed back. Do you think this was fair? Does the idea of two Krayt made guns falling apart from the same repair tool strike you as odd, when the other guns repaired fine?
Thanks for reading this.
93 rated is not the best. I regularly make 98 rated repair tools. Also make sure to repair your guns next to a crafting station of the appropriate type. When I do that I seem to get "minor blemishes" more often than not.
Unfortunately this information is not in the online manual. I'll add it to the Artisan FAQ thread.
