Thread: Making items that are worth a **edit**!
Hi all,
I am a new to the artisan profession, and am wondering how to make things that are worth a **edit**. I am making crafting tool with a rate of -10. Made one with a -6, alright. And I create range weapon powerups with like a +.333 advantage, big deal. So I realize that I need better resources. Currently I am stationed in Moenia. Could some one point out the name of any good resources in that area, or maybe planets that are more rich than others. Any help will be great.
You won't be able to make anything really worth buying until Mater. That's how it is, pretty much, with all the artisan professions.
Better resources, like you said, and experimentation. Scale up the engineering line first (grind powerups on practice). Then if you get the domestic arts line, you'll get more experimentation. Once you get those two, you get 10 experimentation points to work with. That experimentation, coupled with decent resources, should let you make "items that are worth a **edit**!"
Run delivery missions for about 2 hours, then use the credits to by around 6k worth of mineral resources. Start grinding up the Engineering tree, making items that require as many resource units as possible. A couple of hours later and a few trainings, you'll be able to make the hottest items to be added to the game when vehicles get put in.
Unless the Devs get smart and move the schematics to Master Artisan.
Otherwise anyone with a couple of hours will be able to make them with little effort.
