Thread: Is base rate 4 the best you can do for a personal extractor?

I've gotten some personal extractors up to base extraction rate of 4 with 78% experimented effectiveness...

I'm wondering what the extraction rate would be if it were higher than 78%.

Does anyone know, Is base rate of 4 the best, or is it theoretically possible to go higher?

As far as I know BER 4 is the highest on a personal harv, I have yet to see better. My winds are BER 9, and the highest medium mineral I have made is BER 10. Use the search command on this forum and you can find where someone else has posted the maxes. From what I can remember the above is correct.

Haven't gotten better than BER 4 on personals and BER9 on wind harvesters, but that's without using a high endcrafting tool/station or skill attachments.

I have been told by many that it could be pushed to 5 but on Tempest I have some of the best materials and get a bonus for being human in experimantation, and I can consistently make BER 4 peronsals extractors. I use all experimentation points, though it will not allow me to use my 11th point. I have worked long and hard to push the extraction rate higher and it seems that is it, but I can increase the capacity if I use better aluminum and really push it. Hope noone is complaining though they used to be like BER 2 before some patching not long ago lol.

I guess when I'm experimenting, that as soon as I hit BER 4, thenI can put the rest of the experiment points into storage capacity...

I'd be willing to bet that it would take 90-100% to squeeze out a BER 5, if it's even possible - might as well put the remaining points into storage capacity instead.
