I'm trying a different tack here.

Alot of people have (quite rightly in my opinion) requested that one if not all of the new vehicles are moved to the Master Artisan (personally I'd have just moved the Landspeeder to MA), this resulted in a split of the community.

Since the online manual already states that Engineering IV will be the skill box vehicles appear in, perhaps its time to take a different approach to making Master Artisan worthwhile by the addition of other schematics rather than continuing on about moving the vehicles

People are very quick to point out that no profession is based off Master Artisan as the justification for vehicles _not_ being moved to Master Artisan. People are also quick to point out that Master Artisan is only something that DEs and Architects use, however people seem to convienently ignore that fact that MA is not a requirment for either of these professions either and that, really, the required schematics currently in MA ought to be at Engineering IV as well (or at the Novice box of the elite profession)

As it currently stands MA is a waste because it requires the completetion of 2 trees (Domestic and Business) which have no bearing on the only professions that really need the schematics it provides (DE and Arch, needing only Engineering)

IMO Master Artisan should give you a very small subset of elite schematics and some overall bennefit no matter what elite you have. Master Artisan is a dabbler in all crafts, they should know just a tiny bit of each elite. Enough to let them get some basic function but not all the bennefits of that class's novice.

The following would allow the MA access to cross class required items without making them take novice. This let's them get away with just a few less skill points at the expense of maintaining the entire artisan tree.


+10 assembly and experimentation for every craft that branches off of artisan. (similar to brawler elite)

(2 of the novice ones)

(4-5 other schems)

Weaponsmith schematics:
