Thread: Usefull Harvester Macro
here's something I use to manage 30+ harvesters
--Harvester Setup--
/name (structurename)
/setpermission Admin (charactername1)
/setpermission Admin (charactername2)
/setpermission Admin (charactername3)
/pay 5000
this sets up 3 other people as admin, names the harvester, and puts 5000 credits of maintenance in the click of a button. there is also a way to select recourse and turn harvester on but I have no figured out the syntax. I'm curious if anyone knows how to add power through text command.
yea just started using it days ago, makes life so much easier...
Anyway to automatically get the hopper to go to ur inventory?
I've been looking for the right /command to add admins so I could Macro that.
I have an entire toolpane, or whatever its called, devoted to harvestor macros.
I use one macro to name the structure, add the admins, and then open the status window so I can see how many days worth of maintenance and power are there.
I have 3 maintenance macros. One that will add 10k, one that will add 5k and one that will add 1k. At the end of each of these, the status window is opened so i can see what the total is up to.
I have 3 power macros. One that will add 10k power, one that will add 5k power and one that will add 1k power. At the end of each of these, the status window is opened so i can see what the total is up to.
Then 3 macros similar to the above that will add both power and maintenance and then open the status window.
Note that you do not have to close the status window each time after clicking the needed macros to get the totals up to what you want them to be. multiple instances of the status window will not open. the status window will just refresh itself.
I used to calculate exactly how much power and maintenance I needed to put in to make it to the estimated end of shift and put in just the right amount. What a pain. Now I just hit the macros until the display reads that the harvestor has 10 days or more of maintenance and 10 days or more of power. So much easier.
