Thread: Petition to make resources, experimentation, and opt components matter in vehicles

Not sure if we go here or to TC for this but I'm hoping our correspondent can escalate as appropriate.
To me it seems wrong to have all vehicles, regardless of the quality of the materials, to have the same speed. Star Wars is all about tweaking things to make them run a bit better. It is all over the movies. Please allow the speed and durability of a vehicle to be affected by the following factors:
1. Quality of the materials. I want vehicles to have a speed rating just like guns. The higher speed models will sell for more
2. Presence or absence of optional components. Perhaps certain optional components can be added from other elite professions to improve the durability or speed of a vehicle. composite armor segments, advanced droid motive systems, etc.
3. Experimentation. Just like powerups get better with good experimentation results, the same should be true for vehicles.
This will create a more dynamic market for vehicles and allow for races to be more interesting events.
