Ok my friend just made the organic recycler and put it in his house and added me to admin so I could use it.

I went to give it a try and could not figure out how to get my resources that I want to combine into the thing.

I tried doing open and dragging my resources into it. I also tried dragging my resources onto the recycler and no luck.

How do you get these things to work?

I used the Metal recycler that I made last night but it was in my inventory. I just dragged the steel over and dropped, and it popped out automatically. I had to reset to non-ferrous metal when I did aluminum.

You may have to have the recycler in your inventory for it to work.

As the guy above said, you need to have the item in your inventory for it to work. That's it...

Pick it up, set up the settings, then drag the item over the recycler. Don't forget to drop it back on the ground.

Thanks that's what the problem was it was in a house not my inventory
