Is there any talk about providing us a craftable Home (Color) Customization Kit, one that would have a durability like candles, a few days or weeks.
I think this would be so great for player cities and guilds that want to do some special decorations and also add some personality to otherwise cookie cutter house selections.
Has this come up before? Any chance of it going Live?

A better place to ask this question would be the architect forum. Since architects are the ones who make all of the structures they would be the logical profession to produce a kit like this.
In answer to your question, I believe people have asked for the ability to customize houses in the past, but to my knowledge, there is not currently any plan to implement such a feature.

Indeed, although i was hoping it would be an Artisan good(schematic) that we could make for the Benefit of all, consumer and Architects.

Architects would hate that. There are many architects who feel like their profession has really gotten the short end of the stick and honestly, they make some good points. Their biggest complaint has got to be that they don't have any products which lead to repeat customers.
Houses, extractors, PA halls. These items are the architect profession's big ticket items and yet once a customer purchases one, if they keep their maintenance paid, they'll never need to buy another. Furniture has the same problem. Once it has been purchased, it never needs replacing. The only exceptions are candles and light fixtures. However, both of those items are bugged such that theirtimer can read zero forever, but they'll still keep emitting light as long as they stay in the house.
My point is, if a house customization kit is added to the game, I feel that it should be crafted by architects. It makes sense because they craft the houses and architects could really use an item like this that would supply them with a renewable source of income.

Ok well no loss since i am a master architect aswell. The idea is still a good one i think. Any chance this can get moved to the Architect forums?

I agree that it's an awesome idea. There's not really any way to get the thread moved though. The forum correspondents don't have that authority and the forum moderators only step in to lock or delete threads when something offensive has been said. Your best bet, just start a new thread in the architect forum. Looks like you and I have been the only contributors so far anyway.
