I feel Artisans should get more then 10 lots. The way to stop people from taking basic Artisan to get the extra lots would be to offer the extra lots toMaster Artisans only.Master artisans should get at least 2-4 extra lots

I for one am tired of having a small or medium house, while all players in combat professions have large houses because they have the lot space available.

They jsut need to make the houses proportionate to the slots that hey use. 250 items is crap for my large house.

Kinda like this idea though... archs get more slots also?

I think thatwith Master Artisan you should yield +3 lots.

He knew he was as good as gone, but gone was somewhere he really didn't mind going to.
Since his shuttle had crashed, many years had passed, and the pictures of his loved ones that he drew on the walls of the cave
had finally faded.
He put out his smoke, proceeded towards the lake, repeating to himself,
everything beautiful is far away.

Haveing more lots is a very good idea, one way that can be done is selling/buying lots from other players. I know most "fighting" professions dont use there lots unless they have a house. As a matter a fact I sold all my lots to a master artisan, and he gives me 10% percent of all his sales.

One idea that I had was for the artisans to have different types of lots

maybe 10 lots for harvestors 4-6 lots for housing

and a few for factories (or more not sure how many lots factories use)

On the Architect board: "Architects should get more lots, and architects only..."
On theWeapon smithboard: "Weapon Smithsshould get more lots, andweapon smithsonly..."
On theArmor Smithboard: "Armor smithsshould get more lots, and armor smithsonly..."
On theDroid Engineerboard: "Droid Engineersshould get more lots, anddroid engineersonly..."
On theMerchant board: "Merchants should get more lots, andmerchants only..."

And now, finally:

"Artisans should get more lots, and artisans only..."

IMO, it doesn't show any sense of reality to ask for more lots anyway, it shows even LESS sense of reality to restrict it to your <insert here> class only.

The only thing I _could_ imagine was an addition ofa Miner specialisation that _could_ if worked upto master level add 1 or perhaps 2 lots for Harvesters only, but I don't think overall it's very likelly this will ever happen.

>blinks< as an artsian, not a pecialty class, why do you need more then 4 slots for harvesters? you're just being greedy. i have a big hose and 4 harvesters going (all mediums) 1 chem, 1 mineral, 1 gas, and 1 solar. that gives me all the resources i need. i mean even I have problems going through the 10k resources i get from them i still have 20k enegery and 16k of reactive gas i don't know what i'm gonna do with. you don't need more lots, you need to be more efficent. >nods<

I don't think Artisans need additional lots, if there were a Miner class, probably them, Architects do though. I'll agree that they should get them as they work up the tree and probably get at most 3 (Whichever skill is right 1 & 3 and Master Architect)

A moisture vaparator take a total 3865 units of 9resources, compare that to a rocket launcher which needs 518 of 9 resources and that is a Novice Architect schematic vs. a Master Weapon Maker schematic.

Just my opinion

lets see, I have1 clothing/armor factories, 1 equipment factory, 1 small house (2 lot version), and 6 active harvesters. I also have use of 1 medium house (shop) and 2 additional clothing/armor factories. And STILL I need more if I want to do it all myself. BUT, this game wasnt intended to be able to do it all yourself... If you need more lots, rent them from someone you trust for a flat fee (I dont necessarily agree with 10% of what I sell, since that can be a large amount or a small amount depending on the day, and subjective to if I tell the owner of the lots what I truly sell...) . Or, partner up with someone, or fine suppliers...I have 150 slots to store my resources/crates in my small house, 110 slots on my person, andthat seems to be plenty. Just destroy all those live samples you find in lairs lol

Be an Artisan or any other craft profession is very hard, you need spend your lots to place a house like all other professions, but also artisan and the other craft professions, needs to spend extra lots for extractors, like mineral, chemical or gas extractors. Also all crafting professions sacrifice lots to have houses with vendors in diferents cities and not always is easy became a merchant to use the tents.

Thats why I think could be a good idea if artisans could get 2 or 3 extra lots to place extractors, this extra lots could be one of the benefits of the survey skills branch, we could have an extra 2 or 3 lots. Also could be restricted this to only be able to use this lots to place extractors, that way artisans don't have the advantage of use this free lots to place more houses or an extra guild house.

Aside from the fact that the lot limitation is a way to have crafters use more then 1 account, I don't think providing more lots to a certain class is a good idea. i know we crafters need teh room but it's what we've chosen with the lot limitation we all knew about. It would be very unfair to the rest of the people who play, if artisan's and it's Elite classes if we got such a massive perk only because we're crafters. The lot limitation also promotes setting up business contacts with those who have resoruce businesses.
