Is it just my poor luck, or is there a 55% cap on water vapor concentration? I can never seem to do better than that.

I sometimes find it in higher concentrations, but it is usually on the side of a very steep mountain and I can't even place a personal harvester there. Also, I think it depends on the planet. On some planets I seem to find higher concentrations than on others.

Please drop any auction winnings at my vendor on Corellia. It is Abilof Weapons at -1803 2347 just east of the Kor Vella starport or the Fort Qui shuttleport.

I think the cap is reported somewhere around 70%. But since there's normally 2000m or so between each concentration, you will have a hard time finding that. The highest I've ever seen is 65%. Consider yourself lucky if you manage to find 60% or higher. So, 55% is pretty decentafter all.

Ore (except Fermionic Siliclastic), Wind Energy and Solar Energy have the same type of concentrations as water.

On Rori, Chilastra I lookd for a bit and came across a 76% I could place my 5 harvies on. Problem is there are no discrete deposits, it's just one continual blanket on the planet. I scoured Rori to find that deposit, prob covered 75% of harvestable terrain.

With water, if I hit a peak of 50% or better, I put harvesters down. As others have said, you can cover half the planet and not necessarily do better (particularly on hilly planets).
