I was wondering if there was any easier way to get xp than to just keep making fire works. I really don't know that much about harvesters so I was just wondering if there is any where that I could read up on them a little bit.

Thanks

Harvesters are the (legitimate) way to gain resources while not in game. It costs money to keep them running, but they can be handy over time. You will need a large amount of resources to build the "deed" in order to use one. After you have it built and placed, you will need to pre-pay the maint cost (credits) and supply it with power. Your options are to build a wind generator (more resources + more credits upkeep) or purchase the power.

The other way to gain large amounts of resources is to (ahem) use a macro. This is in debate right now on the legal implications in the SWG realm, but as of right now it still goes on (and probably will for a while).

If your looking to "grind" youself up in levels with crafting, I suggest you make couplers until you hit eng IV. What other professions do you have at the moment?

I am a low entertainer (1 music 2 dancing and either 2 or 3 ent healing) and I am aiming for architect first and foremost then probably move to droids.

If your looking for that end goal, you might want to re-think your entertainer status. Entertainers are great in cities. Resources are outside of the cities. Thus lies the problem. Once you've obtained some higher goals, you can always go back to lower level entertainment and bulk up. Harder to do from the other direction.

You may want to migrate to a artisan/marksman(or brawler)/scout. This will alow you mine for resources,be able to defend yourself/kill,and kill animals needed for armor/camps (bone armor = good XP when done right).

Remember, you can always surrender low level skills when you reach the peaks... might as well use the low stuff to spring board youself where you want to be.

well I know It would be best but I really haven't ventured more than 5 minutes or so out of the city and I really haven't seen it as a problem and I'm really just a casual gamer. I have a scout that's a soon to be pistoleer/CH so whenever I'm tired of fighting I go to my artisan/entertainer, but if I do end up really liking my artisan then I'm gonna take up fighting skills since I won't be playing my CH that much.

if I sell a harverster to someone will I get use XP from it, also will I get use XP when my harvesters are running. I'm still confused as to where and when I gain use XP from the items I craft.

Harvesters do not generate GCXP. They are assigned as structures, and thus gain structure XP. Unless you are an architect... you'll never have a use for this
