From what I remember in seeing my skill chart (since servers are down now, can't look
for myself) Business Access skills are based on General Crafting XP just like
Engineering and Domestic Arts. So, to gain skill in it, just make things.
As far as being a merchant, I don't have any plans to become a Merchant, so I didn't
look into those skills. I'm qualified for Business Access I just because I'm crafting
weapon powerups in the seemingly-neverending quest to become a Droid Engineer.

I should also have said that you might not notice an increase if you are spending
you General Crafting XP on other skills. When you spend it on Eng II for example,
your General Crafting XP (total sum) drops by 1000 or 2000 or whatever it is, so
that also takes away from the General Crafting XP (since its the same XP) needed to
qualify for Business Access I.
Does that make sense?

All the artisan skill blocks, except Surveying ones use general crafting xp, you get this by either making items or buy people using the items you have made.
Sure this doesnt 'fit' with the business skills but thats the way it is.
