How come I'm not getting any crafting xp for makeing harvestor deeds? Is this by design or a bug?

You don't get general crafting XP for harvesters, you get structure XP.

are u sure about structure xp?...i thought my general was going up when i crafted them...and it for sure goes up when they are used by others.

It is definitely structure XP and not General. If you look up the crafting tree in the architect tree, you can see that you have structure XP there waiting for you.
