Thread: +30% powerups?!!! Im only making 17%
Look for the resources that give the highest overall quality you can find. This might involve going to other planets. I think this is the reason that your powerups are topped at 17%. Otherwise, you should be able to make powerups just as well. To give you an idea as to how high you want the OQ. I made a few powerups last night with some low grade ore and fiberplast with OQ of about 960. I was getting powerups around +32%.

The higher quality resources will get your base number higher, but to get even higher stand next to a crafting station and experiment on your power-ups. I have had power-ups get to +88% when I have experimented on them. Which on some has given me +31% speed increas on the weapon.

Try using higher quality materials. I use copper with an overall quality of 958 and inert petrochemical of over 950. With 10 experimentation pts this gives me a +31.something and +15 to +16 on secondary. Sometimes when I get an awesome experimentation this will leave me with one or two points to spend on durability... Generally I end up with +29% durability and +98% on efficieny.

Regularly get 95% all the time. I have 940 quality Minderal and 960 Chemical.at 95% I can get about 32%/15% to two stats.
On a related topic, have there been any bug fixes or exploits discovered recently on powerups? I and a friend have recently gotten LARGE orders for factory crates of powerups. I asked my buyer and he gave me a vague answer about stocking up and PvP and my friend is getting Weaponsmiths asking him for these orders. We are thinking it is some kind of exploit we don't know about or there is some serious stuff about to go down on our server...

I buy powerups by the crateload. To rule in PvP you need to slice your weapon and then power it up. The powerups don't last too long. I doubt there's any exploit in this. Its just people by the boatload willing to whatever it is they can to 'pwn.'

asan human, I get extra 1 experimentation points come in very handy, I can work a ql 970 resource eo 33%/16%
nothing like a scout blaster that's 88/248 damage 1.7 speed
