I don't know if it is just me who thinks the artisan crafting missions are ... weird.

they offer decent/poor payment at 67 to around 700 credits.

67 credits are usually 100+ meters away.

700 credits need you to make and deliver the item to at least 4000 m away! that's so little for so much travelling?

anyone has anything to say on this?

Just take 2 missions that are going to the same place. When you get there, get a couple more missions going back to your original city.

those missions are a joke and a wast of time i think you would make more money harvesting and sell it off. Then you would a lest get surveying xp right?

But with the missions, you get the cash NOW. Not in an hour, a day, or whenever a buyer comes along....

I don't know where you do ur artisan crafting mission, but when i do a mission, i get about 1300 each mission and I take 2 a time. All i have to do is get the mission, talk to the person, build the item and get on the shuttle and deliver it. After all is said and done, i come out with about 200 creds in about 5-10 min.

I can't figure out how to do the crafting for the mission. You are given a schematic and some parts but how do you put em together? I load my crafting tool and it doesn't give me an option to craft whatever thing it is they want....

I seem to remember the schematic appears in a different place thatn you'd expect. For instance, I used my droid, weapon and general items crafting tool, and the schematic for the mission object appeared listed as a weapon.

So, look around. It's probably there somewhere.

Had a guy teach me this on a testcenter, and now it doesn't always work out quite right, but..

Find a either gas, ore, or metal that is over 70% and preferably just outside 500m of the city. This may sound difficult at first, but good resource come up under cities more often than not. Anyway....

Once you have a good 70% or greater source.. get 2 artisan missions from the terminal for the same resource.. This can take a little bit of refreshing. Run to your waypointed spot, survey once you've done your 2 missions, head back and repeat until you achieve your desired results.

Generally I've been able to net 2k every 5 minutes or so. And it's terribly simple to do. Finding the "sweet" spot is the challenge.
