Ok im a master artisan whose also a Tailor and a DE, but i want to pick up novice Architect and Armorsmith. . . . . . I used to craft Bone BP's for good xp, but now with the self produced components not giving uxp whats the fastest way to make the grind in Gen Craft XP?

I'm also grinding for a Elite crafting profession (haven't decided which yet). I made some bone armor yesterday. Needs a lot fo fibreplast panels which takes a while to craft using your hands.

I think a fibreplast panel gives you 30 exp.

Gonna try those undershirts.

Bone armor, 500 a pop. Yes, I know it's expensive but for pure XP it's the way to go.

I think that this issue has been discussed before, but to be a nice guy and help a fellow artisan:

1. Eveyone should get Dom IV - Travel packs. Nuff said... Takes fewest resources for the retun in investment.

One note is that I think the experimentation points are bugged. I used to be able to use my experment points to up skill level for the item and get at least 300 xp for the travel packs. I haven't seen this recently.

2. Bone armor -However the resource to investment is not very good.

3. Power ups - nice and fast grind. Not much xp but quick returns.

4. Higher up food products. Another reason to have Dom IV.

Hope this helps.

Well we get much less returns now from products that require crafted components - thus bone bps give less returns since all 4 peices you need dont give uxp when crafting them into the final products. thats why i asked for an updated one - since before for tailor and DE i did bone bps but the returns arent as good now.

First i made camps/raps until i was able to make soft undershirts. Did those up to domestic IV and then travelpacks.Gotmaster artisan, novice tailor and novice architechtinsome hourswith travelpacks (hoarded tons of resources before that tho).

I was disappointed to find something wierd. I was working on Engineering IV and decided just to grind my way through it. CDEF pistols gave me over 100xp each, (I didn't do the exact math). After I reached Engineering IV and got the skill, I went back to CDEF's and now I only get 22 per pistol. (yuck). Not sure if that was meant to happen but had I known that, I wouldn't have skilled up ENG IV until after I had knocked out a bunch more CDEF's.

Does this mean that the higher your skill level, the less xp you get for lower level items?

Personally, I think if you have enough resources at your disposal crafting two fireworks (any type) then making a firework show pack using the two fireworks can get a lot of experience pretty quickly... all that's needed is one type of mineral, one type of chemical, and one type of gas (any types, nothing specific!!!)... I found it to bea dream come true, but I'm only working towards Eng IV now, so I don't know what kind of exp it brings any higher lvl. crafters...

Something I have yet to verify: does the type of resource effect the experience you get? Like, let's say you're making a muzzle. Something I noticed but wasn't sure about during the time when I was getting Eng IV was when I used a mineral with low overall quality (the stat required for muzzles), I got about 20 xp. I would get about 35 when I used something with higher overall quality. Or, is the amount of experience you get randomized?

Personally, I think they should add more stuff to craft that gives more than 100 GXP!
