what amount is conveniant for you? What amount of steel, copper, gems, etc do you like to buy? And load into your factory? 250, 500, 1000? Just trying to figure out how to split my resources into nice chunks for artisans to buy. Thanks!!

when I buy off of the bazaar, which is rare these days, I like to purchase in amopunts of 500 and 1000 depending on the resource.

I'll buy whatever is the best value - but would rather buy in as big of lots as possible.

So there isn't a specific amount that is normal? I thought I heard that factories onlyaccepted certain quantities?

Hipnautik, you need to have the right amount to do 100 copies of whatever you're making, if I understand things correctly.

My model as a dedicated harvester is to either sell a round amount (500, 1000, etc.) for the appropriate multiple price, or to sell however much (750, 800, 900, 1700) for 3000 credits. I feel that by doing one of these things, the price per unit is pretty obvious. On the bazaar, it's most often however-much-for-3000-credits, because that's the limit on how high I can charge for a batch (3000), and how many auctions I can run at a time (25). On my vendor, it's generally 500, 1000, 1500, 2000 for whatever quantitity of material is appropriate, since there is neither a credit limit (setting the max I can charge for a batch and keeping quantity low) or a number-of-auctions limit (making me want to sell as much in a single batch as possible.)

When I do buy some materials for crafting, I'm very irritated by the really odd prices and quantities that I see: not because it's an odd number that will be hard to use, but because the price per unit is difficult to estimate and compare to other sales.

Ilook for stuff around 1000 but obviously I look for price first

What I usually do Is sort everything in the bazaar by price and look through. I find it much easyer to determine the resource amount, price ratio that way.

It depends on what your crafting.

Architechs need huge quantities. 1000-2000 is a joke for ore, maybe steel or alu. If I bought instead of self produced I would look for 10,000-50,000 stacks.

Anything under a 100 is perty much worthless to me now. I use to buy up all the small quantity of hide bone that was lt 1cr per and get an ok stack.

500 is a nice min for good quality materials.

I don't buy from the bazaar, but I sell on it. I've noticed that most buyers are probably just grinding because they will buy several stacks (1500 units for 3k of whatever resource) regardless of quality.
