I started searching lairs and have gotten about 2 dozen eggs and a lot of those "sample of live xxx". I know the description says that artisans could probably make something with them but I'm wondering if any are. What can you make with them and is there really any point to making it other then some xp?

you can make creature habitat with the live creature samples. Its just a low altitude firework, when you realease the creatures, they will fly around you for 5 secs and vanish. i made some habitat and got only 1 gcxp. The eggs can be used by cooks and medics i suppose, to make food or healing kits, but i'm not 100% sure.

Anyone else have any info on the eggs? If they are useless, I'll just stop getting them.

Eggs are for chefs and can also be used whenever a schematic calls for general organic resources.
