Thread: Wind Harvesting Question

Sorry about the n00b question, I've been in SWG since day 2 but just started up the Artisian branch to complement the medic resources needed. I know eventially I'll need a factory and harvestors, etc. but I've found a lot about those. I haven't seen much about Wind Harvesting.
What is a good concentration for this? Does this resourse shift like the others do? Is there any logic to it (ie top of mountain vs valley)? How long does it take to fill one up at a good conentration? What happens to the overflow? I don't think so but - is there any demand for this in market?
Thanks for the help.
There is a market for all types of power (wind, solar or radioactives). On Corbantis the high-end is 2 credits/unit on the public bazaars, though this is starting to drop as more suppliers enter the market (pricing may be different on your server). If you are thinking of running generators solely for selling power, do not settle for any concentration below 50%. If you want to stick to selling power, upgrade to solar generators (and then to fusions)when you can afford them.

First - thanks to all - these answers were awesome.
But it did bring up one more question - can any power type (wind/solar/rad) be used for any harverster/factory/etc or do specific ones require certain types? If I'm going to need harvestors and factories, specificlly, what do those require?
Thanks again
