I just obtained my first vendor and the cost to run it with a lot of items is insane. Does the maintenance rate go down with the better vendors?

Yes, but expect that to change. Look for the MASSIVE thread here regarding vendor fees.


Right now, NPC vendors are TOO cheap, and that should change, but the proposed fee schedule will be the death of the mom and pop store. Soon it will be the age of the galactic Walmarts.
