I am a master artisan and now I find that I can no longer experiment when crafting artisan items. I do get the option when I craft weapons.

What is up here?

NM - i think this has something to do with the crafting tool effectiveness rating. Still testing...

1. Are you using a generic crafting tool? Or a specific tool? Generic crafting tools do not allow experimentation.

2. Are you near a creafting station? You can not experiment unless near a crafting station or a droid with the appropriate crafting module.

My guess is it's number 2.
