Fang and claw necklaces, chokers, anklets and arm bands.
Anklet boots, and thigh-high boots. And hip wader fishing boots.
Hair ornaments. Earrings. Nose rings. Etc.
Rugs of various sizes. Wall hangings and paintings of various sizes. Sculptures and statuary.
More styles of furniture of all kinds - furniture that actually functions! As in storage! Chests and trunks and boxes and shelves that actually hold things. Lights that light up (off/on switch?) And be able to choose furniture colors like you can clothing colors.
Knick-knacks, gew-gaws, collectibles... pretty or unique things to decorate yourself and yourhouse with. Ya know, frivolous stuff people will spend a fortune on. Heh.
I think as a master artisian we should have items that reflect a high amount of pride, skill, and craft. For example instead of a pair of casual pants, have a pair of relaxed casual pants with a different look. Instead of a barrel (weapon powerup), have a polished barrel, instead of firework type X have a finale firework. The items should not be new per se but should represent an unobtainable pinnacle of craftmanship and artistry that cannot be found elsewhere. They should all have some bonus, relaxed casual pants reduce action pool fatigue3-5 percent, polished barrels have plus 3-5 percent to effectiveness and durablity (before experimentation), finale fireworks are more spectacular (maybe effects of 3 other rockets in one). Nothing eleborate or that seriously endangers another profession but a definate advantage to the regular item. Pick 3 or so items from each tree and allow the MA to make them in enhanced versions.

Like marksman, the way to make master artisan worthile is to give it key skill bonuses that are useful in advanced professions. Then, no matter your advanced crafting profession, having master artisan will make you more proficient then someone who doesnt. A little bit, anyway.
+10 Experimentation all disciplines
+10 Survey
+10 items in the Bazaar

I think Master Artisan needs to have at least one item from the skill lines leading up to it to make it better. I'd like to see another bit of clothing and some food in there for example. It would also be really nice if Master Artisan led to an elite profession. It feels kind of silly that the thing I get asked for the most is to make parts for torches!
I very much agree that an item limit boost on the bazaar is a good idea for MA, as it won't hurt anyone running their own business out of their house, but help those who may not want to go the Merchant route.
Also, there should be an overall bonus to crafting everything in the Artisan skill lines, like +5% to all qualities before experimentation. That won't make MA items way better than others, but enough better to notice. For example a Homemaker will still be able to max out stats on food, but the Master Artisan can end up with a few more doses...
Not really a big deal, but my biggest peave having acheived MA... YOU CAN'T GET THE BIRD CAGE OFF THE FLOOR! Unless you have a two story house... That's really a problem with lots of items, but since it's the only decorative item for the MA and obviously belongs hanging from the ceiling or on a table, NOT on the floor, I thought I'd mention it here. Even if they made it like the rucksacks so it floated, that would be better!

Since Artisan is the only profession (besides smuggler) without any skillmods at master level, I suggest add some skillmods.
Like: Surveying +25, Artisan Customization +10, Artisan Experimentation +10
Especially Surveying, the largest distance I get is 320 meter with 5 points.I rememberin beta there was another option for 380 meters and 6 points. It is even listed when you examine a survey tool. Seems a good idea to me if a master artisan could use it.

I hope the don't do anything to make it more "desirable". I would rather not be inclined to spend the skill pts to get merchant line and Master.
It should be desierable though. It should be something that a new crafter strives to complete. I want to be abe to feel a sense of accomplishment for Mastering Artisan. I do not belive that is the case now.
If you wish to make Master Artisan a more attractive profession, they must be able to do things that nobody else can do. Unique things that servein both areas offunction and frivolous, yet provides something of value to all.
Certainly, I agree with the idea of making unique items for the home...pictures and posters, trophy mounts, spot lighting, various furnishings, etc, etc, and the ability to customize them with color schemes or other frills. I also would like to see enhanced skill mods when crafting, like higher experimentation rates, that are greater than they are now. Make it so that the Master Artisan can make useful items for other professions, things that only they can create, more so than they can do now.
In other words, give people a reason to seek them out in the game because they are the only ones capable of making things that are needed, or desired, by all other professions.
Aaggh, sorry, when I posted before, I was waaayyy tired and misread the question. Master Artisan *only* type new stuff to motivate artisans and provide items other professions will want to buy. Sorry.
1. Tell us what the Nemodian bird cage is for and how to use it. If it has a use other than decorative only.
2. Give MAs one or twocraftable item typesfromeach upper tier (Architect, DE, Tailor, etc.) so they can sample a little bit of the various customer types. Make these items be minor, small, frivolous, such as: oooooo! Architect line - rugs/pictures, tabletop size statues/figurines? Tailor line - socks, pajamas? (LOL) Droid Engineers - hand-held toys or mini-bots.
I have just recently made Master, and was a bit disappointed that the title was the only major change. Even though I knew there wasn't much more to it, I really wanted a bit more from my skill points. As for the bird cage, I'm guessing it's just decorative? If I'm wrong, plz correct me, but as it sits on the floor in my house, I have to say that's the only use I've found for it.
I think that perhaps a "tease" of the possible skills to come would be nice... if I had the ability to craft a few household items such as rugs or wall hangings for my house that only Master could have. Or say a new tease of clothing to come, a better maiden's dress (sorry not a fan of the current one). Or say a new type of boot or shoe. And for the food, something new would be great. It seems novice chef adds a bunch of the same type of items, bread, travel biscuits (aka blap biscuits) and other similiar items to what we had before, so maybe something new at the Master Artisan level would be nice.
Either that... or how about more color options for clothing and armor?
Anyway, I agree pretty much with everyone else that MA has lacked the joy of obtaining it.
Oh and a question... why is it I can never find any Milk? hehe ![]()
