I decided to take the path of an Armorsmith, but since I needed some of the other branches of Artisan anyway, I decided to take up MA. A friend told me I should anyway, since you get experimentation bonus points at MA. But when I look at it, there are none. Was it there before and was removed in some patch or was my friend mistaken?
Also, does anyone feel I should keep MA as I go Armorsmith? or is it not really worth it?

There was no bonus at MA, which is why I dropped it when I hit a skill point crunch. But a human =does= get a +10 racial bonus for experimentation. Perhaps that was what your friend was thinking of? At any rate, artisan experimentation bonuses have no effect on your armorsmith-tree items.

The reason armorsmiths take MA is to be able to get the schamtics for the parts needed for PSG's. There are two componants for PSG's that come from MA. As PSG's were never fixed and are still broken, they are rather useless now.

Ahhh, Thanks.
I didn't realize the artisan experimentation bonuses didn't effect armor making.
