Hi all, I'd appreicate some input. I'm creating a money making character on another account.

Which is best for making quick and preferably easy money (with macro use (legal macros of course))

I'm considering going weapon smith or architect.

Which is best for moneymaking? Thanks, input appreciated..

The quick answer is none of them.

The easiest way to make money is to sell resources. All you have to do is pay maintenance and the harvesters do all the work. You don't need to spend time grinding a profession. You don't need to spend time crafting. You can spend most of your time having fun hunting and have an easy stream of income. A well placed vendor in a busy player city is best for selling the resources.

Since focusing on resource selling about a month ago, I've make 5.5 million credits and have plenty of inventory that I'm holding out for better prices on. Holo grinding has been great for resources sellers - many more people buying them than there used to be.

Agreed - sell resources. The easiest method is to determine a grinding niche and supply it. For example, many people grind medic crafting (including docs and CMs) using advanced biological effects controllers which require Lokian Wild Wheat and Tatooinian Fiberplast. These 2 resources are always available and for grinding, quality doesn't matter. Soharvest at a cost less than 0.5 cpu (including power, redeeds, etc) and sell at 3 cpu and watch a BER10 medium harvester turn a 25K profit per day.

Sure, you could make more money turning those resources into finished produce (armorsmiths and weaponsmiths seem to get the best premium), but then you have to chase down multiple resources (some not always available) with specific stat requirements and run factories. If you want to maximize money/time spent in game, go with resources.

If all you want to do is make money, become a Smuggler and slice mission terminals (and sell Faction Points).
