How do i place them? Are they like other harvester that i need to survey for materials???

Yeh, but they only harvest radioactive stuff. The nice thing about them is you don't have to put energy into them, just maintenance.

yeah but i can then take that and power my mineral harvesters and all correct? They are used to mine power??

Radioactives have a PE rating, which is the power number. 500 and below is one power per unit, while 1000 would get you 2 units of power per unit of radioactive. I used to use swgcraft.com to find the PE as hard surveying can massivly wound you, but they are down so be careful.

Use your mineral survey tool to locate radioactives. I usually chech swgcraft.com and harvest when the PE is above 900. I have a BER 13 and a BER 24 fusion, on a new spawn I can get 200k plus. Gives me plenty.
