Thread: E-mail after sale?
you end of getting more customers and return customers at least in my experiance...I wouldn't spam off vendor sales but off the Bazzar its always a good idea to send a message..thank the guy and let him know where your city/vendors at..
But it's a manual process?
I've gotten e-mail off bazaar sales that gave me the WP of the person's store. That's what I'd like to do... have it when they buy something off the bazaar, they get a thank-you with a WP to my shop.
Yes, it will be a manual process.
Just make up your intended email, with waypoint attached and send to yourself. (now you have a copy)
Then, forward that email to the bazaar sale recipient(s) (and edit out all the forwarding marks)
You can put quite a few neames in the "TO:" box.
Helpful hint: when sending out your emails, DO NOT delete them as you go. I once had about 30 names in the TO field and had deleted all of the corresponding emails when I lost connection to SWG. Don't delete until you have sent the email.
What I do is Imapped the copy and paste functions to my key board in the Options/Controls menu (not mapped by default). Then I created a macro with my email text in it (just a note - it will format it a little different - inserts semi-colons at line breaks). I call up my macro editor, edit the email macro and copy out the text then paste it into a new email and clean out the semi-colons and add in the line breaks again (it's pretty fast as long as you haven't written a book of information
).
I also do the same thing for a small blurb to paste into the description box when I post sales on the bazaar.
