Thanks in advance guys!

My 2nd Holo said Master Artisan too!
Not sure which is best but I started crafting mineral survey tools in practice mode and it seems to be going pretty easy. The higher up I got though I realized i could get more xp grinding out crafting tools.
For the surveying part... lets just say it sucks! make some survey tools and find the highest concentration you can find. ( preferably away from mobs) I just got this macro last night and am currently running it at home while I am here at work ![]()
/kneel;
/survey;
/pause 4;
/sit;
/pause 38; allows you to regenerate your action bar (can be more or less)
/stand;
/ui action toolbarSlotXX; this loops macro, just choose the number for which ever box you have your macro in.
to begin you need to select a resource to survey, survey it at least once, then hit your macro button. Then all you do is sitback and relax!
Enjoy!
For GCXP, start with Survey Tools(only 1 resource needed) until you get to Eng III and then switch to Personal Harvesters(3 resources needed but much better XP).
* Have novice medic so you can periodically heal yourself in action.
* Don't bother with with high yield locations. Just hit ESC to dismiss the window.
2a) Get someone to make you +14.91 tools so you have fewer critical assembly failures.
2b) Look up the many threads on how to macro six tools at once so you can pipeline creating items. There's a floated thread in either Artisan or Weaponsmithing.
2c) Grind survival knives until Eng III. Only requires metal, thus per resource it's an easy grind.
2d) Grind windmill power generator deeds until master. Takes several components, but generates about 400 xp a pop. By this point, getting to master takes about 1.5 hours.
Bel, the mostly sane..
It took me about an hour or twoto do all the crafting for Master artisan but its taken me 2 days to do surveying.
This following method is only for those with cash. I started artisan because my holo demanded it of me.
First thing you need to do is make a weapon/whatever/general crafting tool. This one tool will allow you to make all the necessary componets for fast skill. then make 3 more. At first you'll only be able to use two as there seems to be a bug that will close any open crafting session when the previous tool finishes "making" the prototype. As you'll be "practicing" you won't get an item. Someone tells me that you still get the exp. By the time I saw that post I was beyond caring.
Next make a surveying tool. it doesn't matter what kind.
Then go buy resources. For the tools you'll need 24 metal and 10 petrochems per and for the tools and 110 any metal, 60 steel, 15 non-ferrous, 15 aluminum, and 50 ore. I ended up getting 20k steel, 10k aluminum, 4k petrochems, and 3k ore and had left over metals if I recall correctly.
Now I then went and hunted up a good spot with 90%+ of some resource and then set up a sampling macro.
Sample_Grind
/stand;
/pause 1;
/sample;
/pause 4;
/stand;
/pause1;
/sit;
/pause 25;
/ui action toolbarSlotxx (xx being the slot I put it in)
Then once you're in that good spot start the sampling macro up while you start crafting. This way you get to start both the grinds all at one time.
For the crafting do tools until you make it to eng 3 they givesomewhere around 50 exp per. At first only skill up in engineering. Don't bother with the other ones as they don't give you access to the exp machine that is called personal harvestors.
Once you hit eng 3 you get to make harvestors. When you practice it gives you 455 exp per harvestor. From that point on the 31k crafting you need is a joke. You can hit it in a very short period of time.
Some tips. If you can get a doc to buff your stamina you can simply type in /sample and not worry about the rest of that crap. You'll keep sampling until the stamina buff wears off. That is unless you have really crappy mind and mind substats. I am a master doc so I didn't have to worry about that. I jsut hit /sample and forgot about it. I used the above macro for a while until I stopped crafting at which point I started paying attention to what I was doing. The sampling macro was lifted almost wholesale from some other post but I do not remember who posted it. My appologies, it is not my work but I do not recall whose work it is.
Hope parts of this helps.
They're called:
Micro Flora Farm
Personal Mineral Extractor
Wind Power Generator
They're under the deeds or structures or something to that effect menu.
