Try dragging the vehicle's icon from your datapad into the trade window. You should be able to transfer it that way.

is it possible to redeed a vehicle? if not, how do i give a aldready generated vehicle away?

I've done this more than once (not on TC), and it's always worked.

You have toSELL a data pad vehicle before you can use another one, come on! There will always be someone who will take it for the right price, might aswell have 5k rather than destroying something.

Redeeding a vehicle, I can't say I've ever seen an option for it.

My question was NOT whether you could sell the vehicle; I know how to sell something, thank you very much. I was wondering whether there is another way to get the vehicle out of the datapad, other than the obvious routes of trading it or destroying it.

Is this even possible? Or do you have to destroy a datapad vehicle in order to switch to another one? I saw mention of this once, but I have a feeling they were joking...

Nope, vehicles must be destroyed.

There is talk I've read that says we will eventually be able to have one of each type of vehicle in our datapad. This would be welcome...sometimes a x34 will do, like when I'm surveying for materials and tending to my harvesters, sometimes I really wish I had a swoop (like when hunting with my PA).

Kinda like taking your dad's beat up Buick cruising at Daytona Beach.
