A planet without fiberplast is just weird though.

Not really. I've seen fiberplast totally disappear from Naboo on Kettemoor for 5 days once.

Fiberplast dissapeared from bria altogether about 3 months ago. lasted 9 days.

I am new to this and no help whatsoever from the manual regarding this.

I have a character that started as an Artisan and got it to III for all fields (except survey which I maxed). The problem is that when surveying, the list of resources was huge. One day I decide I didn't like the server much as to just be an artisan on my other character.

My other character started as a Human scout, has high marksmanship high scout and now full surveying and Engineering III. Problem is on my survey tools I see a much shorter list of potential resources, including Fiberplast being missing (which you know is very impotant).

This happens on many crafted tools and I don't have the starting ones.

Is this problem base-stat related or survey tool related? If so how do I fix it?

It's not a problem w/ any of your tools. It just means the resources are currently not available on your planet. Wait a week or so for the resource shift, or try other planets. You'll see that in different planets you'll have different choices, and over time those choices will disappear and new ones will appear.

or he could have closed the list for that particular resource. Each line has a subline that can be opened when clicked or double clicked. Go back to the ones that aren't thre and make sure the lines are all open so you can see the resources listed under them.
