Thread: Accurate Equation for calculating Harvester Yields.
Hello,
I just plopped a couple of harvesters down, and I was wondering if there is a known equation for calculating how much resources a harvester will extract per hour? Anyone know what the "KG/H" means? Is KG supposed to be Kilograms or something? As far as I know, the 3 variables are:
1.) Survey Percentage
2.) Harvester Base Effective Rating
3.) Actual Rate (I believe derrived from the two above)
Any help would be great. Thanks!
Units harvested per hour = BaseRate * ConcentrationPercent * 60
The actual rate is simply the Base rate times the concentration, and it's units per minute (ignore the KG/h, unless you rationalize that 60 units = 1 Kg). So a 10 BER medium harvester on a 70% spot will gather:
10 * 0.70 * 60 = 420 units per hour, or 10,080 units per day.
