I don't want to get ripped off so I'm wondering how much should one pay for a windmill and a personal harvester?

That is really high. I want to say it takes something like 200 or so resources to craft one. You should be able to find either for around 1K, or less. Be prepared though, you have to pay maintainance fees that are (or were) about 1500/day on wind power generators and about 750/day on harvesters.

Ask around to get the required resources for one. Any Engineer would probably build it for you for free. Even better, ask an architect. Crafting harvesters grantsstructure crafting xp.

the good thing about the free enterprise system is that if you can build it cheaper than your compeditor you can sell it for cheaper and get all the business, I personaly have been trying to gain a foothold into the harvester market so I usually charge between 750-1000cr depending on my current monitary situation. with the increase to harvester upkeep I've a feeling that my prices will be hovering around the 1000cr moark more often. but charge whatever you like the only thing you need to worry about is covering your costs.

sorry didn't read too carefully, though you were selling not buying, I wouldn't pay much more than 1000cr for a personal harvester. if alot of people are making them you might luck out and find one cheap. watch out for those maintenance costs though

it depends really... is it worth 10k to you? shop around and get better pricing if you think it is too high. before release they went for 30k and up so compared to that 10k is nothing. shop around andyoull get a deal before long

On Naboo on Gorath harvesters going for 1500-2000, so there's one baseline. But prices vary from planet to planet and between servers. New servers made after the nerf patch may have higher prices, since no one had the chance to grind as fast up the engineering tree.
