Alrite, at the moment (with CA's from brother),we have an 11+Point Artisan.

For those of you that have Master Artisan and craft AV-21's, what would you recommend i do?
Should i Wait and try to trade on the forums to get a 12+Point Artisan?
Or should i go ahead and try to craft AV-21's now?

Also, if anyone knows agood weblink / guide to Experimenting and getting the best results out of Crafting these expensive craft, please put it in your reply.

AV-21's only have 1 line of experimentation. You'll want to use the best resources(high shock resist?) you have avilable to you to make it. With 10 points from Engineering/Domestic Arts, you should easily max out the 1 bar of experimentation. The+2 experiment points only matter on items that have mutiple experiment lines.

Yep there is only one line and with 11 points you will probably max out before you run out of skill points. You should look more for stuff with very high shock resistance.. and then with that any master artisan should be fine.. even an 10 point artisan.

im a 10 point artisan and i made a 92% av21... with iron with 992 SR and alum with 764 SR. so its very possible to get much more than 92% on a speeder with only 10 points. you would just need non ferrous and ferrous with 900+ and i bet you could hit around 96% or 99%

I'm only a 10 pointer and I managed to max out the exp on my 98% AV-21 and still have a point left over, so you should be fine.

I agree with what has been said, under a normal craft a 10 pt master artisan with good resources can certainly get a 90% plus AV 21. Where the extra points do come in handy is if you get a critical failure druring your crafting. Normally, at that point you would just delete your schem and try again. However, since the AV 21 schem is 1 use, and you don't want to destroy your powerplant, you trudge on through. Having an extra point or two at that point can help extend the final crafted percent a bit.

I agree also, get the BEST resources in term so of shock value (just like making swoops). Also, be sure to take Bespin Port at least during your first craft....that main one you DON'T want a critical failure on (if it fails there, you lose the schem and powerplant). I use Bespin Port my chef makes with 20 stomach fill....lets you take at least 5 Bespin Port hits as you craft up....that combined with a city designated a research center really helps.
