Is all water created equal? I just picked up novice artisan so i could collect water. I can NEVER find it when I'm online, or it's somewhere like Dathomir and I'm on Endor, and it they want 6000 for 70 units. Currently, I am on Corellia and I'm harvesting Piwa(sp?) water. I don't have enuff skill to collect it tho. At what skill level can I collect water, and if I go to Naboo, is there a different water type I can collect. I checked some of the FAQs and couldn't find anything on this. Maybe I'll start a water business or something! Also, what is the current cpu for water on shadowfire? anyone know?

Water is a named resource like any other, if you have even novice artisan then you can collect it. you may not be on a high enough concentration to sample it though, especially if you have a low surveying level.
From memory the 2 stats on water are decay rate and overall quality and these stats vary each time it shifts (which is approx. every 5 - 10 days) each planet produces different "water" so tatooine produces "tatooine water" and Naboo "naboo water" etc.
Certain schematics calls for specific water vapour, for example one of the advanced medical components requires talusian water vapour, thats why it is very often more highly valued than any other type even if the stats arent as high
i cant help with your server but typically on mine it goes for 3 - 5 cpu (taluisian can be much higher)
