Thread: Using packs in houses to increase item limit?

Hi,

Thanks to everyone who responded with help regards my housing and factory related questions. Now I have another question.

It would seem my small naboo house can hold 75 items. Is it possible to put some items into a travel pack and then put the travel pack in the house making the item count 1. For example, I put 10 items in an travel pack, then drop the travel pack in my house. Would this mean the item count is 1 or 11?

Thanks again,

Ato

Items in backpacks count against house total. So it really doesn't help out.

It would count as 11.

But don't despair, backpacks are quite handy for organising your items, keeping your resources seperate for different purposes, etc. I prefer to use unlocked containers, they don't look as stupid as backpacks floating in mid air.

It would be great if we could store things in chests / armiores etc. HINT HINT devs

Clarf or anybody else...

Check out the new test center notes. You got your wish, but I think it still counts against the house total items.

Unfortunately, you can't rename unlocked containers like you can a backpack.

And they only hold 20 items opposed to 50

I would still like to rename unlocked containers, but I think the new furniture storage will do. For now at least.

Too bad you can't rename the storage furniture either.

Yeah renaming unlocked containers would be great, but I don't think the devs could ever implement this.

Isn't it funny that big-ass containers store only 20 items and little backpacks store 50.

And hooray for furniture storage!

i think this was a bug when it happened, but a while back i had a small house as my store front for my BE'd pets. i shared the place with a friend and gave him my locked containers...well to make this shorter, he dropped the unlocked containers off empty and i would put my made pets, dna samples, guns and armor in separate ones. later on i bought another small house so i could transfer everything (cuz the first house was his and he had just cancelled). neways, when i moved the containers, i could only fit half of em...i went back to thefirst house that still had 3 filled containers (63 items total) and nothing else in the house. checked out the item count inside the house and it was only 3. i think that happened from having the containers already down in the house and then putting items in them. again this was a long time ago, at the least 7-8 months ago. i guess it would be considered an exploit, just neevr wondered how my small house had hundreds of items in it...never really crossed my mind...lol

I still hope they will add Storage houses or Warehouses, so that Crafters can store the components. (or make um stack) Or make resource stack in packs or 1 mil or so, just to save same space for a Crafter. I would be willing to sacrifice5 lots, just to be able to store like 1000 items or so.

50 items possible (of course count against item limit) and finally you havbe a decorated house but can organise better your resoruces.

only backside you cant rename them, but i for one love this update
