Yes and no.

You can get a vendor and put items on it then drop business 3.

Now the problem you can never add another item to that vendor and as soon as all the items are sold or rotted off 2 weeks later vendor is gone.

Quick answer:

Nope, not anymore. You could drop skills and keep a vendor forever, but that was fixed in the last publish.

Yeah, Merchants were none too happy with folks getting away with this little trick.

That'd sort of be like becoming Master Artisan, but still being able to craft Swoops when you've dropped Artisan all together.

Anyhow, you can still keep your vendor after you drop your skills - whether it'll be useful for very long is a whole other matter. The problem is that once the item's "auction" expires, if you don't have the skill you can't relist it. It'll say something like "You have exceeded the maximum amount of items you can sell" or something like that. Your vendor will stick around as long as you have stuff on it for sale. Once it hits the stockroom, you have 30 days (I hear) before the stockroom stuff deletes itself. Your vendor drops from the planetary map once it's empty, and goes poof after not being used for awhile.

Hope that helps.

hey, if you master something aka get your diploma, there are certain things you will never forget. i know thats not how the game works but maybe it should, at least with the skills you used the most.

I thought you only get 7 days in the stockroom before items are deleted, not 30 days. Can someone confirm this?

The stockroom has been increased to 30 days and they've added a time colum to the listing as well.
