What does everyone think of this??

A vehicle that you choose one resource and it updates a screen like the survey tool as you drive around. Make it a master artisan Item to make and to use.

wicked idea, a speeder that you can survey from. I imagine in the future there will be more land vehicles that will hold multiple people, shoot from, etc etc. But the surveying one is def. good idea

I prefer thte Idea of having a "Component" slot upon crafting, to put in either a specific survey tool, some kind of engine booster, armour or a CDEF

that way, we get more variation in our crafting of vehicles.

Maybe a small refridge. to so you can put our pre-nerf melon's in there.

But yea a componet slot even opens this up even more.

I like the general component idea. That way, if someone wants to put a survey tool in they can survey but they could also put in other components (from droid engineers maybe -- such as storage compartments, crafting tools, music playback, etc) they could really make their vehicle their own. Perhaps the number of component slots could be experimented on with an "amazing success" giving two or three component slots.

Great idea, worth pursuing. Brings more value to Master Artisan box.

If we can add weapons and engine upgrades everntually, I don't see why we can't add survey scanners too. With JTL's custom ships and current droids,master artisancould become a diverse as the droid engineer profession.

I would like a trunk on my vehicle, so I can bring some items in it!!! Would be cool though. hehe

The componet slot would be great, but for new vehicles, i would rather see a whole new profession dedicated to it that comes off of Master Artisan. but thats just me.

it would be cool to have some kind of vehicle you could survey from. I envision some kind of golf cart looking thing with big off-road tires

you could have a hatch to keep your tools, etc in. cool idea!

And on the idea of a vehicle engineer- yeah that'd be cool with me, as long as they made a ton of vehicles available in it. Big ones where you and your buddies can drive around in, armored ones you can use in battles, RVs or mobile homes

There is a lot of room for creativity here!

Forget a new vehicle,, Just let us let our R2 ride in the back and let him do the surveying for us,, now that would be stly'in ! !

I wouldn't even care if it was a new vehicle per se. I would just like this functionality added to existing vehicles either though being ableuse existing tools on bikes or having add ons to bikes (ala droids and modules) for survey tools.

just my 2 credits worth...
