Thread: is 1 cpu on metal asking too much?

I am wondering if I should just go with 2cpu instead of trying to hold out for 1cpu stuff? I am on bloodfin and I am scavenging the galaxy for some 1cpu ferrous metal and 1cpu non-ferrous(go figure what I am making

We'll I think 1cpu is a bit optimistic. 2cpu is more realistic, and even at that price you can make a profit on your vehicles if you have a market...course thats the zinger aint it?
My suggestion to you is to simply grab 4 medium miners and put them on a steel spawn with 800+ SR. Pick em up in 4 days and do the same on a high SR copper or aluminum, only have to wait 2 days for that. Thatll give you enough steel and non-ferrous to keep you going for a little while.
Simply harvest more as you wait for your bikes to sell.
I sell a lot of resources, 2cpu is a pretty normal price for steel.
Although if you do go that route, youll find fairly quickly that youll make far more money selling the resources than the bikes heh...course it depends on the market.

Right now bloodfin has a lot of resource farmers with 100-300 harvesters which is making selling resources harder. But the prices your asking is fine. For a finished product 3-4 is usually more normal. Then when you get into powerups and repair kits you can go a lot higher.
