I was wondering what starts on a melee powerup would be considered good? I am able to get up to 93% when i experiment on them with some decent resources. Anyone out there make anything better before? And has anyone tried making some while wearing a couple of artisan experimenation skill tapes? Just curious to see how mine compare to everyone elses ![]()

I think that is decent, but mainly look at the final stats, a good powerup will be at least 30% in its primary stat, anything else is crap, the highest you can get are 33%, most of mine are over 32%. More experimentation points won't do diddly since you will end up just having points left over and nowhere to put them. Experimenting on them one point at a time will increase your odds of getting a 3 mod or better powerup.

I have seen min-max damage modifying couplers. I have tried for hours to make one and i never get that combination. Did they nerf it? Is it possible after days and days of crafting powerups? Get back with me please.

A standard powerup with both damage stats would be a 33.16% Maximum Damage Increase and a 16.33% Minimum Damage Increase. If you were looking for 33.16 Min Damage/16.33 Max Dam.....don't think I have seen that combination before.
If you consider an "average" damage per attack then a higher max dam is better as the increase is higher since max dam is higher than min dam, thus the 33% bumps max more. This makes your "average" damage higher.
On my powerup vendor Max/Min dam sell the best by far. At least in ranged powerups.
Try making Muzzles. I tend to get more max/min combinations using muzzles.
Good luck.

from what i understand depending on the type of power-up if the first mod is Min Dmg there isnt a Max Dmg as the second mod... the only powerup that has max and min together are Tuned Muzzles....

I'm 99% certain that you are right about this... I attempted to put a stock on a Republic Blaster and it wouldn't allow it.
