Not having ever used the formulas to determine a vehicle's hitpoints I'm not familiar with the above formula and can therefore not offer a useful response on whether or not you've applied the formula properly.
The easiest (and best) way to determine the experimentation percentage on your swoop is to pay attention while crafting. When you're experimenting on your vehicle just make a note of what experimentation percentage you stop at; that is the bike's experimentation percentage.
The formulas are mainly used before crafting takes place. They're used when purchasing/mining your materials to give you an approximation as to what kind of vehicle might be crafted with them.
Based on about a year's worth of experience crafting swoops, I would say that 92% looks about right for those materials. The SR on the nonferrous does look a little bit low, but I've gotten spoiled using my cache of 998 SR nonferrous so I'm a bit jaded.

I just made my first swoop and I think it's a 92% one. Here's my math...tell me if I'm right.
My ferrous metal's SR was 952 and my non-ferrous metal's SR was 811.
I used the - ((952 x 4) + 811) / 50 = 92.38 formula. So this should be a 92% bike...right?

you didn't catch the % after you were done experimenting??
that's all I do... lol

Hmmm...I thought the above formula told you what it was before exp. Maybe I'm being a moron and not getting this right.

Okay, thanks Kyyle. I was kind of worried because of the 811 SR in there. That's why I came to the forums with it.
Can anyone give me a def answer?

Your math is correct. When you undeed it, it should have 2385HP.
