The answer to all of the above is yes. Times are based on the complixity like you said. But complexity is affected by how many times you've experimented. So if you used 1 point per experimentation for 10 points it will really up the times.
192 isnt that bad really for most items anymore.

Ok, thanks for the answer, I had not run a factory for about 2 months... I didn't think the change was so drastic.

yeah we were all crying for longer factory times and the devs finally listened. i dont know anyone not thrilled about the change.

Sorry but as an armorsmith and weaponsmith the increase in factory times was a bit dramatic. But i adapted and now i just plan a day further ahead.

i wasnt being serious. i was just hinting at how changes are made. they dont go by the community or by the wants of those that play/subscribe to the game. changes just come by randomly and without warn.
no one wanted, needed, or asked for longer factory times. ive looked at it from every angle and the only thing it adds to the gameplay is headache, but thats a common theme nowadays.

It was done in an effort to slow down production for the big boys, which it did,. Honeslty the longer times dont really effect me at all. Soo it just takes a bit longer to run /shrug like fodder said i just plan better now, and gives me time to do other stuff like ohh i dont know go out and have fun : )
and yea i was shocked on the 192 time myself.. i havent made power ups in months guess that run of 1k will take a long long time

I know that they recently change factories so that the time it takes to craft an item is based on the complexity of the item that was crafted.. but I got a huge suprise today when I was going to start a factory run of an old power-up schematic, when I checked the details, it told me that it was taking 192 seconds for each power up... is that right?
Why would it possibly take 3-4 times as long for a factory to craft something than it take for me to craft by hand? I'm certain that the last time I ran a factory for power ups it was taking between 40-50 seconds for each.
Has anyone else noticed this? And is this working as intended?
