Does the experimentation on those sub components actuallly aid it for other profession, namely for architect stations
eg 90s % on CUs

hmm think i better examine on those crates

Yes it does actually JeCy. In order to get the 40ish Architect crafting stations. Not only do you need to be a Master Artisan since it uses artisan points for some reason. But you need to have high level MA subcomponents.

The word I've seen from architects is that the quality of the Control Unit does add to the final rating of a crafting station. Not sure about weapons (a CU is also used in Lances, SG82 rifles, Spraysticks, and Tangle pistols), but I would assume so unless a more experienced crafter chimes in.

It's been my experience that with crafting stations, the quality of all the subcomponents matters. I was never able to make one in the mid 40's without highly experimented subcomponents when I was an Architect.

Take care,
Guru

He said other professions, which i thought ment OTHER than arcitect... My bad.. seeing those are the only ones that do need high quality i was answereing saying,, NO other prof it matters.. i can see know how he was asking about arc.. but the way he worded it was different.

Btw, decay on those effects nothing not even sure why that exp tree is even still in there, cant be that hard to remove a exp tree.. take what one coder 5 mins i would think /sigh probly break 8 things though knowing this game.....

btw you dont need to be master artisan to make nice stations,, if you buy the sub componts, just need novice architect and 4-4-0-0 but yea, master artisan and novice arc if you want to make the whole thing : )

Ohh also for the micro sensor suite for the crafting stations those sub-componts used in making the micros also need to have Max exp in them to make the highest possible crafting stations Ive tested 90% micros with crap componts and 90% with 99% parts in them it makes a huge different..

The WS, armor, and DE parts that use them the exp does nothing at all, decay or OQ tree's these ive tested Soo bascially unless you are making them for crafting stations where everything counts, I label them Crafting station Micro suite, Crafting station control unit, Crafting station Droid storage.. and price acordingly, 25k a crate, fior control and droid storage and 75k a crate for micro's if they are just normal junk parts used in anything else i charge 5kper for the single run stuff, and 15k for micros as they have sub componets I just use total crap and go with my normal pricing,, average of 5-10 cpu for crafted items,.

Im going to test whether the level of control units effects both the Stun Batons and SG82s. In the case of the Stun Baton I thought it did. But i havent tested it that deeply.

Some time ago I did extensive testing with a group of four people: myself, a master weaponsmith, a master armorsmith, and a master smuggler. After extensive testing we concluded to everyone's satisfaction that quality doesn't matter one bit in either weapons or armor. We included the master smuggler because someone had hypothesized that perhaps low quality components could lead to low level slices. However, in all of our tests the slice datafit into a perfect bell curve.

I mention this only because we usedstun batons as one of our weaponstest groups.
