i just started the whole harvesting and first thing i wanted to do was get a nice stockpile of fusion energy but i have no clue what to use to survey for it. ive made every survey tool but i dont see anything.

is this certain planets only?

hate the nge... but i lurk. one day maybe things will be fun again. until then soe/la dont get none of my moneys.

It's called Radioactive.

You use a mineral survey tool.

You can harvest it with mineral extractors -OR- fusion generators.

Fusions work best because they don't require power to operate and they can pull at a higher BER than a heavy mineral harvester.
