I'm diving back into SWG after a long break. I had a brief flirtation at release but didn't stick with it. I'm back and hitting Artisan with a vengeance but, after master, I'm not quite sure where to go. I'd like to fill a void, more than anything. I've tossed a few posts on server boards, trying to get a feel for what the buying community feels is lacking but I'd like to hear from artisans in general. What professions do you feel have the worst player representation? Too few DE? Gaping void in the BE market? Not enough housing and art? Is everyone naked and hungry? How about plain ugly. ID is always an option too.

I'm really enjoying just toying around with the resource harvesting system and, at the moment, just on Tat. I may stick with that if there's a market. Any opinions, input and advice would be greatly appreciated.

making a harv farm is quite profitable so I'm told and you could then maybe go a combat profession to give protection while you check your harvs. On my alt, after weeks of deciding what to go when Master Chef as I wanted money money money. I thought about it and thought it must be a good money maker 'cause now Doctor buffs are almost dead, everyone wants food and drink and it gets uses real quick, so you can make money real quick.

If you did go Chef, I'd take Tailor 0010 so you can make Trim for the casts and a bit of BE so you can make the stuff they make that Chefs use.

It really varies, try looking at your galaxy's message board. Another thing to do is spend some time at the bazaar doing vendor searches, look and see if there are any big holes. You can also get an idea of what prices different items
are selling for in the area you wish to settle.
