Thread: Unable to Experment...PLZ HELP

I have been try to craft up some nice general crafting tools. I have a crappy general crafting, and I was standing next to a General crafting station. PLus I was using matterals with pretty high Cond., so i know that i hshould have been able to experment at least a little. However, I was unbale to experment at all. No matter that I tried crafting with the General Crafting tool I was unable to experment. I am Master Artchticet, so i am pretty familer with how expermentation should go.


Plz any help on this issues I am dealing with would be greatly appreciated.

In order to experiment, you have to have a specific crafting tool, not the generic one. For powerups, you need a weapon, droid, and generic crafting tool. Then stand next to the weapon, droid, and generic crafting station. That should let you experiment.



Sorry, didn't read your whole post (plus it's early). You can't experiment on generic tools anymore, cause they can only be made with generic tools and generic tools don't allow experimentation. There was a time (way back in the beginning) when you could make generic tools with the weapon, droid, and generic crafting tool. That allowed for experimentation. Now, however, it can't be done. Your best bet is to find someone who started off the game as an artisan and has that generic tool. Those have a 0.0 rating, so they are actually better than the ones that you can craft.
