If you wanna make money, then Chef. Every needs food and it is a true consumable. It you make a great gun, people with just ADK it. Or maybe Armoursmith and make armour for PvP players.
Sorry for my ignorance, but What is ADK?

ADK = Anti Decay Kit.
These are one of the choices of a veteran reward players can claim when their account turns 1 year old. When you put and item, such as Armor or a Weapon into an Anti-Decay Kit, the item will become fully repaired, and it's condition will NEVER drop.
Through normal wear and tear of usage, weapons and armor's condition drops. when it's condition hits 0 it becomes unusable, and must be destroyed and replaced with a new item. Repair kits can be bought to repair items, but they hvae a chance of failing, and destroying the item.
Many crafters viewed the introduction of ADKs as a bad thing, because when someone buys an ultra-high end weapon, they will never need to purchase another one if it is in an ADK.
The downside to an ADK is that if you get something new you want to apply the kit to, you must destroy what the kit is already applied to. you cannot just remove the kit from an item.
as a previous posted stated, Architect furniture and Tailoring are both excellent ways to get your feet wet in the world of crafting. they'll get you used to using things like factories, dealing with customers, and running vendors without the hassels and head-aches of gathering the best of the best resources possible. while maintaining one of these businesses, you could also work on levelling up another crafter class if you want to. while doing that, head to swgcraft.com and check and see what resources you need to stockpile, and work on mining those resources while you stay focused on the tailoring and furniture in order to generate income.
good luck ![]()
Well, in my time I've mastered (and dropped!) every crafting prof save for shipwright (Too many resources!! GACK!) But, if you're looking for fun, I'd take tailor. There are soooo many different colours and items you can choose. I loved doing custom fittings for people (It was half the fun, finding out what colour they wanted, what item. Plus, it takes a really good eye to make a good outfit!)
If you're looking for money, go Armoursmith. Its also a fun prof, but it requires a long grind now that Armour Upgrade Kits have been removed, it needs a ton of named resources (That is, specific items like Vintrium Extrusive Ore or Nabooian Fiberplast),
