Ore can go up to 67% concentration. Generally, I consider anything over 50% good. You just may have to survey for a while.

Also, I believe the shipwright ore introduced with Jump to Lightspeed can go all the way up to 100%. I can't remember the name of that particular ore though. You may have better success surveying for this ore if you just need generic ore.

Fermionic siliclastic ore is the JTL stuff.

Yes, it can go up to 100%. I'vefound 99% veins. And it lasts for over 11 days usually.

You can get some serious ore this way.

However, if you're looking for named ore that's not siliclastic - yes, the cap is around 67%...which is utterly stupid.

I've only seen ore to the later 90s. Would be nice to see a 100% spot. Actually for non-JTL ore, the max is probably 75%. Usually found at the top of mountains, lakes, and NPC cities, though I found a 72% spot of extrusive near a beach recently.

As an Architect, Ore is a staple of my harvetsing efforts. Most ore will spawn well into the 55%+ range without question, and as noted, Fermionic Silicastic ore will go into the high 90% (I've never found a 100% spot for that - but I've heard the rumors ). Note that that particular ore only spawns on ONE planet per shift...so you'll have to check around (or use SWGCraft).

Call me a liar all you want... but...

I had an architect friend of mine that needed some static harvesters. I had 8 static heavies about 2k outside of theed, these had been sitting around unused for a while so I added maintenance to bring them from the condemned stated. I then put him on admin and just out of curiosity I checked what was under the harvesters. There was a spawn of about 96% siliclastic ore underneath the harvesters. 2 days later it was all gone and it had gone back down to 20%.

I swear I'm not making this up though.
